Since its earliest days, the Power Institute has been host to events that have shaped Australia’s artistic and intellectual climate.
Today, the Power Events program includes lectures, roundtables, symposia and workshops. They remain free, and open to all.
Our objective is to connect Australian art practitioners, researchers and workers, as well as the general public, to the latest ideas and debates concerning art and visual culture from Australia and the world.
Our global network of past presenters include eminent arts scholars, historians, curators and artists: from Clement Greenberg to Jacques Derrida, Clémentine Deliss, Lucy Lippard, Hal Foster, Pi Li, Griselda Pollock and Gregory Crewdson.
