8-10 December 2021
Convened by The Power Institute and the Department of Art History, University of Sydney
The AAANZ Conference is the largest annual gathering of art historians, art workers and artists from across Australia and New Zealand. In 2021, the Power Institute, alongside the Department of Art History at the University of Sydney, organised the AAANZ’s first ever fully online conference.
The program featured over 75 panels, and over 300 speakers, who tuned from across the region – and indeed the world. The program also featured keynote addresses from Julie Nagam and ruangrupa, and a plenary session coordinated by Talia Smith & Nanette Orly.
